My family moved to Billings in the summer of 1957. I started school in the fourth grade at Broadwater School where Jack was one of my classmates. Jack and I lived close to each other and his early friendship help make the transition to a new community a good experience for me. His family welcomed me into their home on different occasions. Through our time at Lincoln Jr. High and Billings Senior his Jack's friendship was significant. His life ended too soon, but the memory of his friendship has lingered for me in the years since.
Jack died in 1978 as the result of a skiing accident.
