Cathy Klotz Shelly was born August 24, 1948in Billings and passed away April 16. 2022 in Bluffton SC.  Cathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She left this word at age 73.  At her side was Tom, husband of 27 years.  Cathing had been battling an aggressive neuromuscular disease for the past seven months.  She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Kathleen Klotz, sister Joeie Emmerick and brother Richard Klotz.She graduated from Billings Senior High and lived in the area several years befrore moving to Denver where she met her husband Tom.  Cathy had a passion for decorating and fashion which led her to work for several luxurious brands where she excelled as they traveled the country for Tom's work  She enjoyed traveling the world with Tom during their retirement while livng in Bluffton.  She loved entertaining her friends in Sun City and visiting family.  The holidays were a very special time of the year for her as she enoyed visiting her children and grandchildren.  Cathy is suvived by her daughter Jodee Lofgren of Colorado Springs CO (husband John Lofgren  and grandchildren Zack, Taylor and Cayden), and her son Jason of Southlake Texas (wife Alisha, grandchildren Collin, Blythe and Gabrielle).  She is also survived by stepdaughter Lori Daniels (husband Mike Daniels and grandchildren Olivia and Logan), and stepson  Tom of Los Angeles.  Finally she is survived by her brother Ben and sister Cindy both of whom live in Montana.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 7th,20222 at the Riverbend Lodge.  Doations in honor of Cathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
