Danella Bauer (Schultz)

Danella Jane Schultz (Bauer) was taken home away from her pain, in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, from complications of lupus. At the age of three she sang “Yes Jesus Loves Me” as clear as a bell, showing her love for her Lord.

She was born in Bismarck, N.D., on Jan. 8, 1947. Attended grade school through middle school in Cody, Wyo., went to high school and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1966. She attended Eastern Montana College for three years participating in Synchronized swimming. There she renewed her high school acquaintance with Arnold Schultz and were married on Nov. 11, 1967.

Danella owned her own business “Danella’s Sign Service” and loved to sponsor a coed softball team for her kids. She loved Trinity Lutheran church, and served as president of the L.W.M.L. Everyone who knew her knows she had a tremendous love for cats and swimming. Danella lived to transcribe sermons to paper for shut-ins and family.

She is preceded in death by her father Ferdinand Bauer (Shorty). She is survived by her mother Leoma Bauer; daughter Schona Rae Stoddard (Jay); Arnie Jr. (Shawnett); brothers Wayne(Laurie), Dennis, Pam Schmidt (Jay) all of Billings; five grandchildren Rhenon Livingston, Jessica (Issac) Webb of Bozeman, Tristin, Hydn, Skyler Schultz of Billings; two great-grandchildren, Yvette Webb, Lukies Webb; sister-in-law Florence Miller of Billings and many cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., April 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church.
