I am currently a Professor in the Music Department at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where I am also Co-Director of iET+I (Institute for Emergent Technology + Intermedia). I am also the Director of Gamelan Pacifica, a musical ensemble that specializes in the performance of traditional and contemporary music for Javanese gamelan. I am active as both a composer and performer. I admit nobody has called me J.G. in a long time, only really old friends who remember those days (like any of you), which makes it more special. All my best to everyone.
