Got the book(s) yesterday. What a pleasant surprise to find a bonus book. Cannot wait to dive into both of them. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. I enjoyed your comments about Addison. He was as funny in person as his columns frequently were. When my father passed away he wrote a column memorializing my dad that I still have a copy of. In it he referenced P.O.E.T.S. club but did not explain it. Said you would have to ask. When my dad retired, he was given an easel, whole set of oil paints and brushes. He took on painting lesson (painted an evergreen) and that was it. I asked how the rest of retirement was going and he started listing all of the volunteer activities that he was involved in, finishing with POETS club. I knew he liked to read but ...... what???? He then said, "ueah you know, Piss On Everything Tomorrow's Saturday". It involved poker and lunch and drinks. Mystery solved.
Pam from someone who knows what it is to lose a son know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Know you are loved.
Super happy birthday Kathy be blessed and enjoy your special day

Living in the South is interesting. Yesterday we had here in Athens 4.85 inches of rain and tornado warnings in the area. There are times when snow and cold look really good. Miss you all in Montana.
Happy Birthday.

Happy early birthday!!!
Susan was the one classmate that I have remembered the most. I will always remember in Lincoln Jr. High school when the office came to get her out of class to tell her she lost her family in a car accident. My heart ached for her. She was such a sweet girl and her normal youth was snatched from her in an instant. I pray for her family and friends and will continue to remember Susan.
Happy birthday old friend 76 and I’m just right behind you.
