Patrica  Jean Bergeson McCoy was born July 14, 1948 and passed to her heavenly Father on June 20, 2023. She was born to Don and Fern Bergeson in Billings and greeted by older siblings Peggy and David. Brother Roger would join the family four years later.  Patti attended Highland Elementary, Lincoln Jr. High and graduated from Billing Senior in 1966.  Along the way she was active in Girl Scouts, Job's Daughters and Methodist Youth Fellowship.  She had a deep and personal faith beginning in those MYF days and at Luccock Park Methodist Church Camp.  She attended one year of college at Easter Mt College and then an airline training school in Kansas City.  Later she received an AA degree in electronics from a Denver college.  She met her first husband Carlos Angel, an engineering student from Bogota, Colombia, while both were working in Yellowstone National Park.  They married and lived in the Denver/Golden areas.  They had a daughter, Aida Angel and later divorced.   Patti worked a number of government office jobs while raising her daughter,mostly as a single mother, until she met the love of her life, Will McCoy; they married in February of 1990.  Seeking to get of of the city they moved to Hudson CO and lived there for some years until Will's retirement.  Will and Patti then moved to Billings so Patti could be closer to her family.

Patti is survived by her husband will, sister Peggy and brothers David and Roger, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Her daughter Aida Angel, grandchildren Kimani Patterson and Kiara Angel as well great and great-great grandchilren also survive her.

Patti died comfortably in her sleep in her home, knowing fully that her reward awaited her in heaven - that eternal life of peace and without pain would be hers.  Cremation has taken place a her memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 11am at Trinity Baptist Church, 1145 Nutter Blvd. Billings; Pastor Ricky Le'Mons will preside.
