Larry Lee Cole, 18, of 933 Bench Blvd., died Friday morning (November 11, 1966) at his home of an apparently self inflicted gunshot wound, sherriff officials said.
He was born Jan 5, 1948 at Morris MN a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cole. He moved to Bilings in 1952, Larry attended Bench Elementary, Lincoln Jr High, graduated in June 1966 from Billings Senior, and was a freshman at Eastern Montana College.
A member of St. Patrick's Catholic Parish, he is survived by his parents and a brother, Gary G. Cole of Cody, Wyoming.
Smith's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I was sad to hear of Larry's passing when it happened many years ago. We went to grade school in the Heights and I always enjoyed him. He had some troubles in later years, but I'll always remember his friendship
