A tragic car accident took Marilyn's life in 1981 while on her way back from Red Lodge. She left behind a husband, John, and two children. I remember Marilyn as a nice, friendly gal who never spoke a bad word about anyone. I took piano lessons from her mother for 5 years and always felt welcome in their home. I was also fortunate to work with Marilyn's husband, John for several years. He remained single and raised their children alone until he remarried in 1991. John was also a graduate of BSHS (not class of '66 however). John passed away in 2012.

I remember Marilyn as a fun loving girlfriend. She hung out sometimes with me as well as Dixie Witcher and Mary Mixon. I lost touch with her after graduation but did know of her tragic accident.

Marilyn married my cousin, John Dickson. My mom told me of her tragic accident when she died, but since I lived in Denver, I didn't really know her that well, just a little bit from high school. I really wished I could have known her better.
John graduated from BSHS in 1961. I really liked John, he always saw the best in everyone. He was one of the nicest men I knew.
