I am so sorry to hear that Dave passed away!  I have such fond memories of him from our high school years together.  I got to visit with him and his lovely Judith at our 50th reunion.  My heart goes out to her and the rest of their family.  He will be missed!

I'm saddened by the news that David passed away.  We corresponded through this website for awhile, and I got to know him again, after all these years, as he shared his and Judith's adventures here in the States, and at their home in Paris.  I always encouraged them to meet us for coffee, when in Mesa, but it never came to be.  Rest in Peace, David.  Judith, my condolences to you and your family.

David Lundin

Hello from Judith.  Thank you for the good thoughts!  David was a friendly, outgoing guy with a great sense of humor, and he truly never met a stranger.  He loved to tell stories about his days in the Navy.   He also would still come up with some new story about his high school days sometimes, even after over fifty years!  I am very glad that he was able to reconnect with friends on Classmates.com and at the 50 year reunion.

David put up with Type 1 Diabetes with lots of complications for almost 44 years.  He had started to have more problems with his balance for the past couple of years, with frequent falls.  While he was in the hospital for repair to a blockage in his leg, he had a sudden heart attack and could not be revived.

Again, thank you all for the enjoyment he had from connecting with you on Classmates.  If anyone wants to write, my email is judithinparis@gmail.com.
